Panicky!

Since the circumcision on Thursday.....Ariq has been lying down. I had to carry him to the toilet....to bed. Everything he wants his Umie......everytime he'd call out "Umie!". Sigh! Well, since my poor baby is enduring pain....I gave in....I relented and did my best to make him happy. He'd cry everytime he felt the pain....and I'd rushed to get his medication. Well, yesterday he was much much better....he was able to walk about! He even played y8 online games!
Even this morning he was able to get up from bed himself! Able to play with Aqil....though reminded him to be careful. Then suddenly at around 3pm....he was whining as he came into the room. I was doing some worksheets. He told me that he felt pain....I thought he was bluffing till I saw the blood on the floor! He was bleeding....there were drops of blood on the floor!
I quickly carried him and put him on bed....get his painkillers....he was screaming all the while! He was still bleeding....I called my hubby at work....he told me to call for ambulance. When Ariq heard ambulance...he was scared saying that he does not want to go to hospital. So I got him to calm down and that I have to clean his wound if he doesn't want to go to hospital....and he did quietened down.
I was cleaning him up when my hubby reached home...he looked at it and said that it was juz the peeling off of dead skin....goodness gracious! I was relieved!...Ariq too felt better and we managed to clean him up.....my poor baby. My advice to all parents with boys.....do the circumcision at KKH....don't do at clinics!

My Big Boy!

Yup, my little baby has grown up! He's a big boy now! haha....well, he went through the circumcision ceremony yesterday....poor baby. I didn't go in as I know I won't be able to take it.....so hubby and my dad went in with Ariq. I could hear him crying!....My heart really went to him....sigh...I would have opted for KKH but they don't have a Muslim doctor doing circumcision.....so we went to Dr Zailan in Yishun. Ariq stopped crying when it was over....he came out of the room....we got into the car..... and he started crying again! He cried all the way home....screaming at his dad to drive faster....he said that it was painful....he wanted his medicine!
My poor baby....we didn't have water with us so we had to wait till we got home.....we were given tablets. I requested for syrup but they didn't have! So my poor baby had to be antagonised by the pain....it was a trauma not juz for him but for me too! I hope 6 yrs down the road....KKH will have a Muslim doctor doing this as it will be Aqil's turn!

Therapy@Sunway/KL

Last week, we went to Malaysia for a holiday. Well, I'd rather choose M'sia than anywhere else cause I'm a shopper....I don't really do sight-seeing hehe. Especially end of the year is the best time as sale is on! So early Friday morning we boarded Aeroline to Bandar Sunway. Thought we'd meet some people but nope it was otherwise. In fact, Sunway Lagoon was almost vacant. It was a Friday but it is school holiday.....so where are they? Nevertheless, all the much better as we really enjoyed ourselves there....especially my kidz! Even Aqil was swimming around playing in the pool.....sigh with Aqil I can't take any of the rides :(

A day at Bandar Sunway and we headed for KL the next day. We stayed at Corus hotel for convenience sake as Aeroline is there...with kidz and luggages....that's the best. But was disappointed with the service there....we can't ask for anything....extra pillow, extra blanket, extra towel....absolutely NO! And the condition of the room was horrible! With the price of RM280++.....it was juz not worth it but I had to stay there! So the next best thing to do was to upgrade! So we did that for RM460 per night....I'd rather spend more than to stay in the horrible and terrible room! First day in KL, we went to Mid Valley Megamall/ The Gardens. It was fun! haha....shopping...shopping :) There were lots of stuff at Megamall....Megakidz, sale at Guess kids, Baby GAP, Isetan....hehe....juz can't stop listing! But the toilet was terrible....long, long Q. So we went to the Premier toilet which charges RM5 per person but multiple entries....but lucky me....I had Robinsons' card....so FREE! My kidz had lots of fun at the Megakidz zone....

@Genting

I didn't really know what I was busy with....but somehow....I did stop updating my blogs. But the first week of schools hols was full with workshops....Monday (Staff Seminar), Tuesday & Wednesday (7 Habits Facilitator Course), Thursday (Live@Edu workshop at Microsoft)...ahhah....that nite....Thursday at midnite....we went to Genting.
Actually hubby had a futsal and soccer friendlies against Petronas and MBPJ, that's the reason for this trip up to KL. But the soccies suggested a night at Genting before the games....so up Genting we went. It was a convoy of 6 cars....the others went by coach.
It was my first time staying at Genting, went there before but never stayed there. We stayed at First World Hotel...and it was a small room. Much smaller than the rooms we usually stayed in. Luckily it was only for a nite. And the checking in was a torture.....we had to wait for a number....haha....first time at First World....and never again!
And we didn't play the outdoor games....we juz played the indoor ones. Well, with the kids especially Aqil, I didn't really get to enjoy the games much. So really can't wait for them to GROW UP!!!

A Mother's Feelings When Son Is Ill

Went to Mustafa's on Tuesday night to look for birthday party stuffs for Ariq's birthday@school. Reached home quite late....almost 12midnite. The moment we reached home ...we could hear Aqil's cries. He had just vomited while drinking his milk. We thought it was a normal over-amount kinda thing. Furthermore, he looks ok except that he was a bit lethargic. Still managed to sleep through the night.
Aqil woke up at 5am, crying...so as usual prepared milk for him. Fed him and he vomited again. He cried. This time he looked uncomfortable but very sleepy coz his eyes were closed all the time. Managed to coax him but couldn't put him down as he would start crying again. So thought he still wants his milk....fed him and he vomited again.....this time he cried longer....very cranky. And a few minutes later....he vomited again.
Feeling something is not right...I decided to take him to KKH as it was 6.15am. So SMSed my HOD to inform her. I had to go alone as hubby had Commander's Parade that morning. So I was at KKH wearing Aqil all the time.....he was sleeping.
Not many patients. Waiting for my turn at the triage, Aqil sleeping. Saw the nurse at triage and she sent me straight to the RED DOOR...that means EMERGENCY. I did not have to wait for my Q number. So saw a doctor on duty....gave Aqil some medicine to stop his vomiting and told me to feed him again an hour later to see if he still vomits. And that 1 hr was ok....aqil slept all the way....I even managed to grab a bite of sandwich. So 1 hr's up and I fed him milk.....he threw every up....I was all drenched with his vomit as I was carrying him.
The doctor saw us as he said to Aqil...."You'll have to stay at the chalet huh darling..." .
Doctor explained that he's want to admit Aqil to see his condition coz he can't go on vomiting at every feed. So I agreed and settled the paperwork. Tried calling hubby but can't get through.
The porter uncle was helpful....he carried my bag for me when sending us to the ward. At the ward called huby again ....still can't get through! All alone!
Ward's MO came and check him.....couldn't make any diagnosis yet suspect stomach flu. Wanted his stool for lab. And now he's got diarrhea.....watery stools. Couldn't get samples from his stools until the ???th stool!
At the ward from.....10am til 3 pm.....Aqil still can't consume his milk....MO came....intravenous drip! That's what we don't want....Ariq was put on drip before and it was a painful experience! But we had to abid. Hubby was already there in hospital with us when they put the drip on Aqil.I had to hold his hands down as he was tossing and crying! They inserted the drip through his liitle foot.
They tried the right foot first....unsuccessful......they tried the left foot....still unsuccessful! Every time they did that "tries"....Aqil was screaming for help.....I WAS THERE HOLDING DOWN HIS HANDS! My heart went to him....sorry darling...Umie had to do this....he looked at me as though asking me to help him....to tell the doctor to stop poking him....."sob".

My Angelz

Juz wanna share this photos which I took while my kidz were sleeping.....was surprised to see the position that they were sleeping! I was at the comp as per norm....my kidz with maid and grandma. So took a break away from the comp to peek at them....and there they were sleeping in the same position...all three of them! Haha...no DNA needed....confirm they're from the same egg and womb! haha!

Tesco Hypermarket !

Last Saturday, me and hubby brought the kidz to JB. Haha...well we didn't make our routine check to Jb the previous week so....kids' milk running out. We headed for JB. It is much cheaper to buy milk over their. Maybe because of the subsidy provided by their government :). So we'd usually buy a month's stock of milk...hehe...funny my kids don't drink other drinks at home, they will ask for milk, milk,milk! And their grandmother would be most happy to make for them!
For this visit, we went to Tesco. A fairly new hypermarket....nearby Giant Plentong...and it has been ages that we went to Giant Plentong....the first Giant outlet. It wasn't a big place.....I still prefer Jusco for shopping! So we spent our day there....not rushing our time, I even managed to do an art piece with Ariq. And we juz hang around the kidz' area a bit before doing our shopping and have our dinner!

Looking for THE ALBUM!

As my hubby returns from work...we got ready and went out for our weekend family outing as per normal. But today with an agenda in mind. I was assigned to do an album...Memories @ CCKPS for our VP who will be leaving su at the end of the year. So I was actually looking for an extraordinary album that Elyyah has.....(if u read this Elyyah....I wanted to call u but I don't have ur number)....went to a few places but couldn't find it!
So today we went to Takashimaya.....again I was disappointed....so I decided to settle for the next best option. So carried on looking around and finally bought one at Kalm's.....it cost $39.90. Plus a gift box and ribbon...total was $58.70....haha but luckily not my money....claim from SWC.
But we don't want to hang around at Taka coz the parking is daylight robbery....so we went to Vivocity where we can claim parking for our purchases. At Vivo, we had ice-cream at Ben & Jerry's where my eldest son, Ariq spilt water over me....luckily it was plain water!

Then we went to ToysRus, my kidz juz knew where it is. Bought the kidz what they wanted and we headed to Earle's Swensen to have our dinner. Hubby ate Roast Lamb....kidz had mini burgers.....and I shared Chicken Baked Rice with my maid....yummy!

Yeah! Its Deepavali! Haha....juz freaking out for a while :).....hubby is werking on Deepavali so here I am updating my dear bloggy.....well on Saturday....we had our family visit to the cinema..haha!...
Me and hubby...we brought our kidz to the cinema to watch High School Musical 3....my kidz are fanatics...especially my gerl...she was actually dancing throughout the movie! Luckily there were other kidz and not much people and we managed to get the back seatsso my kidz had fun dancing in the dark! haha!
It's was a sweet and short family day out as we had to leave Aqil behind.....so we headed home for Aqil after the movie before continuing with our Family Day Out programme....hehe :)

Last Saturday...me, hubby and kidz went Raya visiting with family on my side. Yup! It is already the 18th day of Syawal and we are still doing our Raya visiting. Well, we have got only the weekends to do our visiting..you see....but it was really fun. We went to 3 different houses of our relatives including my 2nd sis who is a M'sian. We ate and relax at each house....catching up with each other.
We were really full that day with very house that we visited preparing something for their VIPs....us lar...haha.
We had roti jala for lunch at my sis's place.....satay and lontong at my uncle's place and curry chicken for dinner at my auntie's place. Well, we informed them that we'll be coming you see....haha...:) Enjoy the slideshow!

What happened?.....well , as mentioned my uncle did brought over his family for Raya visiting on Sun. Hehe! My eldest sis called me up at home. I was in the toilet then so my maid passed the message to me that my sis called and wanted me to return the call saying that it was "urgent". So I immediately returned the call and the "urgency" was celebration of my youngest sis, Iqa's birthday.
But really I would have totally forgot all about it if Kak Zubai hadn't called. Thus, with my uncle coming over, I had no time to buy Iqa a present....so the alternative is to provide the money for her present! Haha! My uncle came over quite late that evening....so we went over to AMK for Iqa's birthday celebration! For more snapshots of this....well visit my Facebook! hehe :)

Yup, here are pic of my Hari Raya visiting with my hubby's buddies. My hubby and his buddies have been doing this Raya visiting ever since they were bujangz....till now...all of them are married with kidz :) Isn't it cool...I'd love to have this practice with my own frenz but they aren't really into it! Sigh! Anyway, we had lots of fun! First stop was Fadzilah-Ghani's place where we had our brunch..hehe :)
Next was my place for lunch....followed by Mashitah's place where we had tea....:) And our last stop was Wawa-Saiful's place where we had our dinner!

Wah...time really flies! It is already e 2nd weekend of Raya! Heck! I'm going visiting again tomorrow...yeah. Juz as I am typing, my uncle called informing of his intention to bring his family over for Raya visiting tomorrow...but I'm not home so he'll be coming on Sunday instead.
And 2 groups of my pupils have come over for Raya....that's already quite a sum I forked out...:( haha. Nevertheless, I welcomed them...I even cooked for them or rather got my maid to prepare something for them. Haha ! Here's a pic of the girls' group.....another group was boys but didn't took a pic of them as I was going out at that time!

Hehehe! Really got lots of things to back date.....very bz during Ramadhan so no time to update my blog.....:) Well, Ramadhan is still the best month of the year.....the 30 dayz when I count down to Hari Raya...we went to JB a couple of times or rather almost everyweek to break fast and jalan-jalan while shopping for Raya stuffs. Juz got to buy kuih raya over there.....S'pore kuih from Geylang not so nice.....to order is expensive.....so the answer is JB!
As usual we bought our kuih raya at Angsana.....the place you shop during Ramadhan.....another recommended place in Jb is Kotaraya. From basement till all the other levels.....full of stalls selling raya stuffs!

Wanted to put this in during the fasting month but no time :( .....anyway this is one of the places that my hubby brought us out for breaking fast, SOFRA Turkish Restaurant....we also went to Straits Kitchen, Carousel, Hyatt JB and Puteri Pan Pacific JB but like Mr Bean la.....didn't bring along camera...sigh!

This is the day of the year that I luv most...or rather the best month of the year.....Hari Raya! It is during this festive season that we get to meet up with family members....relatives... and friends whom we sometimes only see during Hari Raya. So I really appreciate this moment whereby we can meet up with each other :)

Wearing baju kurung from the elderly to the kidz....it is really juz great to be together and spending time catching up with each other.....these are pictures of us going on Raya visiting with my parents and sistaz's families. We decided to wear blue this year after purple & green the previous two years :)
