Happy Anniversary!!!

29 Dec 2001...a memorable date for us. The day we decided to go through life together...through thick and thin....through sadness and happiness. Blessed with 3 beautiful angels....alhamdullilah for everything...amin. ;))

HortPark

Christmas. Nothing planned. Nyehehehehe. Husbern would be back to work the next day...so maybe, can give him the day for resting. But kidz started asking "Umi...when are we going out?". Been going out since we came back from KL. Husbern on leave...so made full use of it! Muahahaha!
Glad the kidz enjoyed themselves. So yeah...we did bring the kidz out. But we wanna avoid the malls...been shopping too much liao.
I was still thinking of the beach...maybe Sentosa coz we went to ECP recently. And so we headed to Sentosa. But along the way, husbern suddenly suggested HortPark coz we have yet to go there. Yup...not yet till today. Ariq has gone there once for LJ so he wasn't really keen.
However, once we reached...he started babblering abt his LJ and shared whatever he learnt from the LJ! Awesome!
There are playgrounds there for the kidz to play. And the weather was perfect! Cloudy & windy...we thought it was gonna rain but it didn't! Weeee! We started walkng through the park stopping here and there for the kidz to play. But once we were exiting to park to enter the Canopy Walk, Aqil started crying.
"I don't wanna go to the 'jungle'" he said. Hehehehe! We tried persuading and even tricked him but he knew! And so we turned back and retraced our route.
A very nice place...maybe can have a picnic there with the kidz. But the weather need to be perfect though...just like today!

Legoland

Finally...we went to Legoland. Since it was opened in September, kidz have been bugging us to bring them to Legoland. Well, thanks to Umi who isn't really into Legos....so ain't really excited about the new theme park.
And since it is the school holz, thought it be nice to grant the kidz their wish before the year ends. So yeah...eve of Christmas. Woke up and checked the traffic at the checkpoints. It was a breeze via Tuas Checkpoint...we were there in 20 mins from home! Weehooo!
It was almost noon by the time we reached....coz we woke up late you see. Ayah queued for the tix while Umi brought nenek and the kidz to Medini Mall, to escape the heat from the scorching sun! Found a bench where nenek could sit down with the kidz. Bought some crepes and hotdogs for us to munch on....coz the tix Q was sssuuuuppppeeerrrr long I tell ya! Poor Ayah had to do the Q-ing....thanks Ayah!
We were lucky to get the tix coz they stopped selling tix at 1230. Phew! If not the kids would have been disappointed. Whatever it was...the important thing is the kidz enjoyed themselves. I even gave in and took the roller-coaster ride with Ariq coz I didn't wanna disappoint him.
We left Legoland at 1930. When it comes to theme parks....we believe in staying all the way till the end. Must make it worth the money may! Hehehe!

More Shopping! Weee!

Saturday was an AWESOME day for me! Muahahahaha! No larrrr....for everyone I guess becoz we went shopping and we bought something for everyone ;)) But the happiest among us? That would be ME! Read on to know why....hehehehe!
It was actually a day planned for Legoland. But with the bad congestion at the checkpoints...we had to postpone the plan. Thus, we are all set to SHOP! WeeeeeHoooo!
We headed to Takashimaya coz we had to collect the items we purchased the previous week. Umi's and Arisya's T&C items! Shall not blabber about it here...pls check out Femme Le Mode for the details ;))

After collecting the items, we went to Seoul Garden to have our lunch. Been some time since we last had a BBQ table....so filled our tummies full!

After the sumptuous lunch, we walked over to ION via Wisma Atria. And I thought there's only traffic jams on the roads....well, I am so wrong! It was super crowded with people that day....human traffic! And along Wisma Atria...Arisya pulled my blouse and said "Umi...is that the cookies I smell?". Hahaha! Yup...Famous Amos...Arisya's favorite. With the crowd...as I said, we had to Q for the cookies. People were buying cookies for Christmas I guess.

With the kids busy munching...we walked on to ION. And that's where Umi went crazy! Huahuahua....braved myself and walked into the boutique....tell ya, when you have that money in hand, you can really go crazy. This will be the most I'd spent on a handbag.....and the next one will have to wait another 5 years? Nah, I treat it as a reward for myself.....so to get one every few years is reasonable. It's not like I get one every year....so yah! Happy with my purchase! ;))

Just like the shoes and jewelleries....Arisya too got a new petite bag! It was the same size as her Burberry...simply love the bow on it ;)) Wanna know more...go over to Femme Le Mode!

Time flies and we felt famished. Shopping do make one hungry ya! As there were Qs here and there with everyone wanting to eat, we opted for some tenders for Popeyes to munch on while we walk. But as I was Q-ing at the counter, husbern & the kidz found a table for us....so we managed to have a proper dinner at Popeyes. Alhamdullilah!

I had to skip Melissa coz I'd bought 6 pairs of shoes to date. So the husbern said "NO MORE SHOES!'

We went over to Wheelock Place....this time, the husbern smiled big2...hehehe! The latest iPad with Retina display. With that, I don't have to feel guilty about my purchases....muahahaha!

With all the shopping...we remembered we need to shop for the kidz' school stuffs. Books are all done...hence, we headed to United Square for the school bag and stationeries. Ariq will be using the Adidas bag he got for his birthday. Arisya requested for a trolley bag coz her friends had that and she said her bag was heavy to carry....all the reasons she can come up with! So we relented, got her the bag matching with a water bottle, pencil case and wallet. 

For the stationeries, we shopped at Smiggle coz Ariq saw the store as we were going around the mall. With that, the kidz are all ready for school! Yippie!

Shop & EAT ~ KL 2012 ( Day 3 - 2/2 )

So after getting those jelly shoes from Jelly Bunny, we headed straight to Chili's Grill & Bar Restaurant coz we were famished by then. Thanks to Umi who was sooooo engrossed in the jelly shoes! As usual, there's the waiting list over at the restaurant...so after placing a reservation, we jumped over to the store next door....Harley Davidson. Of coz nothing much there...all accessories related to bikes. But got a few pcs of Tees for the boys as there was sale...not much just 10-20% though.
Just nice, by the time we finished shopping at Harley's, we were the next in line and within 5 mins, we were brought to our table! Ariq ordered pizza, Arisya wanted the hotdog...the husbern had steak, and me..no more meat...ordered the quesedillas...yummy I tell ya!

Then we continued our shopping....whereby I went crazy again over shoes at another store...TIAMO!!! There was sale...not gonna blabber much abt it here coz I did over at Femme Le Mode.....go over and check it out ya! Nevertheless, here are pics of our loot at TIAMO. A pair for Arisya and 2 pairs for Umi! Hehehehehe!

Then we made a pit stop at CBTL so that Ayah can perform his prayers...Umi? U know I know larrrrr ;)) Had our normal orders but the kidz were disappointed as there was no Snapple in grape flavor which is their fav.....and no choc muffin for Arisya....

After which we had to rush back to Pavilion so that Aqil can have his chicken rice...it was so crowded at the food courts in KLCC, hence we decided to go to Pavilion. Well, we are heading back to our hotel anyway. And Aqil managed to get his chicken rice before we walked back to the hotel and zoomed off to KLIA! 

Shop & Eat ~ KL 2012 ( Day 3 - 1/2 )

5 blog entries for 2 days in KL...muahahahaha! It'd be just weird not to finish it off with the 3rd and last day entry right? So woke up and started packing coz we'd be checking out. Let the kidz sleep while doing the packing, only woke them up to get them ready. There's only 1 huge luggage for 5 of us...yeah, the luggage is HUGE indeed! Managed to pack all the 2 days shooping loot into the luggage as well.
So we checked out & left our luggage at the concierge. We walked all the way to KLCC via the sheltered & air-conditioned walkway. It was abt 15-20mins walk and as it is air-conditioned....wah lah!

Barely 5 mins stepping into SURIA KLCC, we stopped by Jelly Bunny store. Its the jelly shoes!!!!! And these are much much CHEAPER than the Melissa shoes! Way cheaper I tell ya! The shoes are like below RM50. And the shoes were displayed all the way up the wall to the ceiling! You can go crazy looking at the shoes. Bought a pair of pinkies for meself and a red pair for Arisya.
They dont have junior sizes so luckily the smallest size fitted Arisya's feet! And the design of the shoes determine the size you wear....I can't fit some design coz of the small cutting.

Shop & Eat ~ KL 2012 ( Day 2 - 3/3 )

And so from Publika, we headed to One Utama in Damansara. Aaaaggaaaaiiinnnn....I FELL ASLEEP in the cab! Muahahaha!It was also our first time there. I tell you...when the husbern drives....we dont get to go many many places....coz he'd say he don't know how to get there! Sengaja kan? Ergh!
Anyway, One Utama is one BIG mall! There's 4 department stores ~ TANGS, PARKSON, ISETAN & AEON. Fuyohhhhh! (oh...me sooo selnger rite?)
The first thing we did was to find the food court coz Aqil only had McDee fries for lunch. We were so glad that the foodcourt there is Food Republic...so that meant chicken rice for Aqil!

Remembered stepping into Cotton On Kids and 'borong' clothes for the kids! There was SALE and lots are going under RM10, RM20, RM30! WeeHoo! Next...another store that Umi went crazy was at GAP Kids! 50% STOREWIDE, not only that additional 10% for 3 items and additional 20% for 5 items or more! Hence...it doesnt make sense if I dont go for the best bargain rite? So again...weeeehooo!

Time flies when we enjoy what we are doing. So we had to stop the shopping and look for FOOD! Muahahaha! And since it was Friday...we just had to dine at Friday's! (ok ok....jgn marah larrrr) 

Free kids' meal for every main course ordered! But Ariq just had to make his own choice...ergh! He wants the ribs....and the kids' ribs meal ain't in the promo...so clever of my boy? The husbern had another round of ribs....not for me. Had a Surf & Turf which is a set of sirloin steak + charbroiled prawns. What I love about these kinda diners are the BOTTOMLESS DRINKS! Thumbs up!

And before we head back to the hotel, we 'tapau'ed some pretzels from Auntie Anne's and cinnamon rolls from Cinnabon!
