More Pancakes!

Well, the kidz asked for pancakes again! And this time round, I decided to make it more presentable...just for the fun of it! Hehe! I don't have any fruits at home...coz we aren't really the fruity kinda people you see. Hence, couldn't make any of those fruity pancakes...in fact the husbern did mention abt banana pancakes...yup, the husbern who simply loves bananas. 

So apart from the classic, was only able to play around with nutella & peanut butter. And as mentioned, I was trying to make the pancakes a lil bit for presentable & fun by using powdered sugar. Hehe! And tadaa...here's my Pancakes Galore! 

Next project will be to come up with fruity pancakes! ;)) 

Pancakes!

Come to realize that my posts' titles are mostly with exclamation marks...nyehehehe! Well, that's becoz I am excited everytime I post a new entry...you see? ;)) 

Ok, back to the topic. Pancakes! Last Monday went to Little Pancakes in Upper Thomson for some twosome time with the husbern. It was our first time there...we thought the pancakes were interesting becoz they were mini pancakes as the name of the shop suggests...and very nicely presented. We even thought of bringing the kidz over there for some pancakes. But 2 days ago as I was buying some groceries...I saw the pancake mix. I was contemplating of bringing the kidz for pancakes at Little Pancakes or to just make the pancakes myself. 

After standing in front of the shelf for almost 5mins, I came to the decision that I shall make the mini pancakes myself! Hehe! And guess what influenced my decision? Money!!! Lol! Nah, not stingy ok...just thought it was much more worth it. And the kidz can have as many pancakes as they like. 

And so I finally made the pancakes for my family...and again, what makes me wanna make anything good for them to eat? When they love what I made! Hehehe! 

Of coz the presentation ain't as nice as those served at Little Pancakes but the taste...just the same...coz they are but pancakes! ;)) 

Oreo ice-cream brownies!

Was surfing the net trying to find the easiest way to make frosting...well, thought of making frosting for cuppies you see....you see? Nyehehehe! And that was when I chanced upon this ice-cream brownies! Guess who came to my mind first...Arisya! That girl of mine loves ice-cream...and thus I thought she might like this apart from cupcakes. That girl with the sweet tooth! ;)) 

Hence straight from work I headed to NTUC to get the stuffs. Yup...straight from work! ;)) I was able to get all the stuffs needed and even bought stuffs for frosting & pancakes which I intend to make during the Vesak Day break. Hehe! 

The thing with me...when I wanna do something, I'll get it done and over with almost immeadiately. But if I ain't in any mood to do anything then I'll be procrastinating! Lol! That's me alright! ;)) 

These ice-cream brownies are easy to make...and that's why I am making them! See the point? ;p 

So after baking the brownies...I just laid some melted ice-cream on top of them and place them in the freezer so that the ice-cream hardens. And to make it more interesting I just placed mini Oreos on top of it! Well, out of fun...I made mini ones as well as a whole cake size. 

Let the ice-cream brownies be in the freezer for abt 2hrs...coz it wouldn't be to hard and thus wouldn't come out nicely out of mould. 

Try it mummies! The kidz will surely love them! ;)) 

Vidz!

Am on exam leave...did my 2nd round of revising just now. I couldn't believe that the 2nd time would be so much faster! I took 3hrs for the first round & less than an hr for the 2nd round...hopefully the info stays in my head till the paper!

Hence, am lepaking with my babe...she with her itouch & me with my phone. MIL has gone to the market...she's getting nasi lemak for breakfast! Yumz! (I am a spoilt daughter-in-law)

As I was browsing my phone...watching again the vidz I have in my phone. They have in fact taken up the space a lot!!! So gonna upload them to my blog before erasing them. Well, I thought it'd be nice to share some of the beautiful moments I captured. And of coz, the vidz are of ht w children mostly! ;)) 

Here's a first one of Aqil singing Itsy Bitsy Spider...one of the songs he knew so well. And no, we didn't teach him this song...he learnt it from one of the TV programmes. ;))

Rainbow Cuppies! ❤💚💜💙💛

Another weekend of baking! Nyehehehe! So I guess...fell in love with baking liaoz! Today...decided to try making rainbow cuppies. I admit that it is kinda tedious...compared to just one flavor baking. And since I have to layer the different colours...I used something to make my layering process easier....can you guess what I used? Lol! It the syringe that we used for Aqil's meds! Yup...hahahaha! I tried using plastic bags as pipes but using the syringe was better...not too much of the batter. Try that for those baking rainbow cuppies!
Oh yeah...furthermore, the cuppies that I used were kinda small hence the syringes were really helpful.
And this time...I added a zest of lemon coz I love rainbow cakes with lemon zest. Didn't put lemon zest for my last baking...I think the lemon zest is magic! Coz the kidz love the cuppies better than before! Well, I baked all but for the kidz...as long as they love what I did...masyAllah...the feeling is beyond words! Alhamdullilahj! ;))
