It was Ariq's 8th birthday bash. As usual got family, friends and relatives to come over for the celebration. Was cracking my head of what to cook for the event. I didn't want to cook the usuals as I myself am tired of them! Hehe! So, as we were going shopping for the stuffs at night, I thought of going to Mustafa to find the stuffs.
And over there, I suddenly got the urge to try cooking Indian delicacies! It was fun searching for the food stuffs as Mustafa is one big shopping mall!
And my life was made easy as there were lots of easy-to-cook ready made recipes! There were lots of them that I had quite a time trying to decide which one to choose! Really was excited about the Indian delicacies as it was my first time cooking them!
And all the effort in cooking the food was worth it when all were finished and positive comments were received! I wouldn't deny that there are some critics received too but I'll keep those in mind so that I can better my cooking!

@Connector Park
Today's the last day of the long National Day break. Was glad that all the marking has been done! Yippee! Couldn't be bothered to go anywhere today....thought of just really relaxing the body and mind before starting work and fasting tomorrow.
But the kidz were bugging me to bring them out to the park. Well, actually we had planned to go to the park last Sat but Aqil fell asleep around that time thus it was cancelled. So today, they started bugging me to bring them there!
So at around 4.30pm, when the weather seem quite nice, we set out for the park! Ariq and Arisya brought along their scooters while I placed Aqil in his stroller. I expected him to be tired and want to be carried later so the stroller would be very handy!
We brought along the kites as Ariq and Arisya wanted to fly kites so much. But the wind was not in their favour. Thus kite flying was impossible. They were a bit disappointed but that disappointment was easily taken care of by a treat @Macdonald's!

Proud of Myself!
Was back early today beacuse of National Day Celebration. I was planning not to do any school work today though I brought them home. So, there I was sitting in my living room looking around. Well, I am already having the 'Raya' mood coz next week Muslims are gonna start fasting! Woohoo!
I sure love Ramadhan coz of the fasting....the bazaars here and there and all the way to JB! Haha! And the anticipation of Raya makes it all the more fun. So I was already itching to do spring cleaning for my home. Well, I was actually contemplating whether to do it or later as Hari Raya falls during the September holz thus I will ahve all the time to spring clean then.
And as I said, I was seated and analysing my house....what can I do to create a change or do I want to spring clean now??? Being unable to make a decision, I decided to use a 'second eye' to help me decide. So I took out the cam and started snapping my home.
When I looked at the shots, I was surprised!!! My house seemed very clean and in fact kinda appealing to the eyes. Hehehe! Say me thick skinned or whatever.....but I am just so proud of myself! Looking at the pics of the well-kept home I have, I definitely am proud of it! Well, I have been managing it myself with a little maintaining from hubby and MIL.
So those pics helped me decide not to do major spring cleaning today so I juz proceeded with the normal sweeping, mopping and dusting! Yippee!
